Appeals

Bail

We can advise and assist you to apply for bail if you are in detention. If your bail application is successful, you may be released from detention.

Entry Clearance

If your application to enter or to remain in the UK has been refused, then you often have a right to appeal against this decision to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. The cases are heard and determined by specialist immigration judges. We can assist you to appeal against visa refusals whether you are in the UK or overseas. We instruct barristers from reputable chambers to represent you at the appeals.

Asylum and Human Rights

We can also assist you to make application for leave to remain on human rights basis. There are basic rights and freedoms which are guaranteed in the European Convention on Human Rights. Among these may include the right to family life, right to a private life, right to life, right to a fair trial et cetera. We may, depending on your individual circumstances, request the Home Office to grant you leave to remain in the UK on a human rights basis.

Some common scenarios may involve where the applicants have spouses, partners, children or other family members in the UK. It may also involve applicants who have lived in the UK for many years.

Asylum

If you are a refugee facing risks in your home country, we can guide you safely through the complexities of Human Rights and Asylum Law.  Protection is given under International Conventions and UK Law for Refugees who would be at risk in their home country.  This area of law is particularly complex and changes frequently as the result of court judgements.  Sound legal advice is indispensable.

Human Rights

If you are facing risks in your home country and/or are at risk of being separated from your family, we can guide you safely through the complexities of Human Rights and Asylum Law. The Home Office and UK Courts are covered by the Human Rights Act, which makes it unlawful for any of them to act in a way, which would interfere with a person’s human rights.  This area of law is particularly complex and changes frequently as the result of court judgements.  Sound legal advice is indispensable.
