Appeals

Entry Clearance

If your application to enter or to remain in the UK has been refused, then you often have a right to appeal against this decision to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. The cases are heard and determined by specialist immigration judges. We can assist you to appeal against visa refusals whether you are in the UK or overseas. We instruct barristers from reputable chambers to represent you at the appeals.

Asylum and Human Rights

We can also assist you to make application for leave to remain on human rights basis. There are basic rights and freedoms which are guaranteed in the European Convention on Human Rights. Among these may include the right to family life, right to a private life, right to life, right to a fair trial et cetera. We may, depending on your individual circumstances, request the Home Office to grant you leave to remain in the UK on a human rights basis.

Some common scenarios may involve where the applicants have spouses, partners, children or other family members in the UK. It may also involve applicants who have lived in the UK for many years.
